- 4 soft-shell crabs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Lemon wedges for serving
- Tartar sauce for serving

Clean the soft-shell crabs by removing the face and gills.

In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and black pepper.

Dredge the crabs in the flour mixture, making sure they are well coated.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Fry the crabs for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
