How To Make Fragrant Thai Prawns

Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) prawns, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 inch (2.5cm) piece of ginger, grated
- 1 red chili, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- Juice of 1 lime
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Vegetable oil, for cooking
Instructions

Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and sliced chili to the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.

Increase the heat to high and add the prawns to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn opaque and pink.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, fish sauce, honey, and lime juice. Pour the sauce over the prawns and toss to coat evenly.

Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the prawns are fully cooked.

Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Serve hot with steamed jasmine rice or noodles.
