Ingredients
- 4 fish fillets (such as cod or haddock)
- 200g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as broccoli, carrots, and peas)
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the mixed vegetables until tender. Drain and set aside.

In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until smooth. Cook for 1 minute.

Gradually add the milk while whisking constantly. Cook until the sauce thickens and comes to a simmer.

Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.

Arrange the fish fillets and prawns in a baking dish. Sprinkle the cooked vegetables evenly over the fish.

Pour the sauce over the fish and vegetables.

In a small bowl, mix the grated cheese and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this mixture over the sauce.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the cheese topping is golden and bubbly.
