- 1 lb white fish fillets, cooked and flaked
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup diced red bell peppers
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the cooked fish, mashed potatoes, onions, bell peppers, garlic, parsley, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Shape the mixture into small patties and coat each patty with bread crumbs.

Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Fry the fish cakes in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

Serve hot with tartare sauce.
