How To Make Easy Fish Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced avocado
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 8 small flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium heat.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Rub the spice mixture onto both sides of the fish fillets.

  4. Drizzle olive oil on the grill or skillet and cook the fish for about 4-5 minutes per side, until it flakes easily with a fork.

  5. In a separate bowl, combine the cabbage, cilantro, red onion, tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, and lime juice. Mix well.

  6. Warm the flour tortillas on the grill or skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.

  7. To assemble the tacos, place a piece of fish on each tortilla, top with the cabbage mixture, and fold in half.

  8. Serve with extra lime wedges and enjoy!
