- 1 pound bay scallops
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the bay scallops to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they are opaque and cooked through.

Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.

Stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice, cooking for 1-2 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
