  • 4 slices of crusty bread
  • 2 mackerel fillets, deboned
  • 1 cup of shredded fennel
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Place the mackerel fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  3. Bake the mackerel in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until cooked through.

  6. Once the mackerel is cooked, flake it into small pieces using a fork.
