How To Make Ham and Basil Panini Recipe

A classic sandwich filled with savory ham and fresh basil, pressed and grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 8-10 fresh basil leaves
  • 4 slices of provolone cheese
  • 4 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat a panini or grill press.

  2. Spread mayonnaise on all the slices of bread.

  3. On one half of the bread, layer one slice of ham, 2-3 basil leaves, and one slice of cheese.

  4. Close the sandwich with the other half of bread and brush the top with olive oil.

  5. Grill the sandwiches for 3-5 minutes until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  6. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve hot.
