Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • 4 slices of Serrano ham
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic and olive oil. Brush the mixture onto the cut sides of the baguette.

  4. Place the baguette in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly toasted.

  5. Remove the baguette from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

  6. Layer the slices of Serrano ham on the bottom half of the baguette.

  7. Top with the sliced tomato and red onion.

  8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.

  9. Place the top half of the baguette on the filling.

  10. Cut the baguette into individual servings and serve.
