How To Make Bacon and Avocado Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Level up your usual grilled cheese sandwich with this easy dish, packed with avocado, pepperjack cheese, and bacon, all combined for a toasty plate!

Ingredients
- 8sourdough bread slices,¾-inch thick
- ¼cupbutter
- 8thick bacon slices,cooked
- 8pepperjack cheese slices
- 1red onion,sliced, separated into rings
- 1avocado,halved, cut into ¼-inch slices
Instructions

Lay the bread on a work surface and spread butter on one side of each slice.

Layer the bacon, 1 slice of cheese, onion rings, avocado slices, and another slice of cheese on top of the unbuttered-side of the bread. Then, top with the second slice of bread, buttered-side facing up.

Cook the sandwiches in a skillet over medium heat, flipping once, for 3 to 5 minutes per side, until both sides are golden brown and cheese has melted.
