How To Make Seared Tuna & Cucumber Salad

Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh tuna steak
- 2 cucumbers, sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Season the tuna steak with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over high heat.

Add the tuna to the skillet and sear for 1-2 minutes on each side, until it is browned on the outside but still pink in the center. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and grated ginger.

In a large bowl, combine cucumber slices and chopped cilantro. Pour the dressing over the cucumber mixture and toss to coat.

Slice the seared tuna into thin strips and arrange on top of the cucumber salad.
