Put together an easy appetizer with these Caprese skewers, made with tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella, paired with balsamic sauce sweetened with honey.

For Skewers:
- 1pintcherry tomatoes,smaller tomatoes are preferable
- 1medium ripe peach,pitted and sliced into bite-sized pieces, optional
- 8ozciliegine,(mini mozzarella balls)
- 1small bunch of basil,smaller basil leaves are preferable, about 22 to 44 leaves
- 22small 4-6-inch skewers
For Balsamic Dipping Sauce:
- ¼cupolive oil
- 1½tbspbalsamic vinegar
- 2tspDijon mustard
- 2tspmaple syrup or honey
- pinch of salt
- freshly ground black pepper
Instructions

Onto each skewer, thread the following in alternating patterns: one cherry tomato, one ciliegine, one to two leaves of basil, and a slice of peach or an additional tomato.

To prepare the sauce, simply whisk together all of the ingredients in a small bowl until emulsified.

Serve skewers on plates or a platter with sauce nearby.
