How To Make Lemon, broccoli & sesame roast chicken

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken
- 2 lemons
- 2 cups of broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.

Cut one lemon into slices and stuff them inside the chicken cavity. Squeeze the juice of the second lemon over the chicken and season with salt and pepper.

Place the chicken on a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet. Add the baking sheet to the oven and roast for 15 minutes, until the broccoli is tender and slightly charred.

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.

In a small skillet, toast the sesame seeds over medium heat until golden brown.

Serve the roast chicken with the roasted broccoli and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
