Ingredients
- 2 cups of cooked Japanese rice
- 4 eggs
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup frozen peas
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil. Set aside.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the frozen peas and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Remove the peas from the skillet and set aside.

Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook sunny-side up or to your desired doneness.

In a large serving bowl, add the cooked rice and pour the soy sauce mixture over it. Mix well to combine.

Divide the rice into 4 bowls and top each bowl with a cooked egg, bacon, peas, and green onions.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
