How To Make Tagliatelle with Mussels & Crème Fraîche

Ingredients
- 1 lb tagliatelle pasta
- 2 lbs mussels, cleaned and debearded
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 cup crème fraîche
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions

Cook the tagliatelle pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large pot, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped shallot. Sauté until fragrant.

Add the mussels to the pot and pour in the white wine. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the mussels have opened. Discard any unopened mussels.

Remove the mussels from the pot, leaving the broth behind. Stir in the crème fraîche and season with salt and pepper. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Add the cooked tagliatelle pasta to the pot and toss to coat it in the sauce.

Serve the pasta in bowls, topping each serving with the cooked mussels. Garnish with chopped parsley.
