How To Make Spaghetti Italian Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Saute for 2-3 minutes, until the onion is tender.

  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer the sauce for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Serve the spaghetti noodles with the meat sauce. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves.
