How To Make Open lasagne of mushrooms & olives

Ingredients
- 9 lasagne sheets
- 300g mushrooms, sliced
- 150g black olives, pitted
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 400ml tomato sauce
- 200g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 50g Parmesan cheese, grated
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- Olive oil, for cooking
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Cook the lasagne sheets according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large pan, heat olive oil and sauté the onions and garlic until they become translucent.

Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become tender. Season with salt and pepper.

Stir in the tomato sauce and olives. Simmer for 5 minutes.

In a baking dish, spread a layer of the mushroom and olive mixture.

Place a layer of lasagne sheets on top, followed by another layer of the mushroom and olive mixture. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of lasagne sheets on top.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the lasagne.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
