How To Make Macaroni Cheese Lasagne

Ingredients
- 250g macaroni
- 300g lasagne sheets
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until smooth.

Gradually pour in the milk while whisking constantly. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens.

Stir in 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

In a greased baking dish, layer half of the cooked macaroni followed by a layer of lasagne sheets. Pour half of the cheese sauce over the lasagne sheets.

Repeat the layers with the remaining macaroni, lasagne sheets, and cheese sauce.

Top with the remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
