How To Make Mac ‘n’ Hock-a-Roni Cheese

Ingredients
- 8 oz macaroni
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz hock-a-roni sausage, sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.

Add the sliced hock-a-roni sausage to the pan and cook until browned.

In a separate small saucepan, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.

Slowly whisk in the milk until smooth. Cook until the sauce thickens.

Remove the sauce from heat and stir in the Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cooked sausage mixture, shredded cheddar cheese, and the sauce. Stir until well combined.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.
