How To Make Homemade Chicken Fettuccine

Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine noodles
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions

Cook the fettuccine noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until cooked through and no longer pink in the center, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.

Slice the cooked chicken breasts into thin strips and add them to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is heated through.

Add the cooked fettuccine noodles to the skillet and toss until well coated in the sauce.

Serve the homemade chicken fettuccine hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
