How To Make Hand-cut Pappardelle

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.

Make a well in the center and crack the eggs into it.

Using a fork, slowly incorporate the flour into the eggs until a dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Cover the dough with a clean towel and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.

Working with one portion at a time, roll it out into a thin rectangle.

Using a sharp knife or a pasta cutter, cut the dough into wide ribbons, about 1 inch in width.

Hang the ribbons to dry for 10 minutes.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook the pappardelle for 2-3 minutes or until al dente.

Drain the pasta and toss with your favorite sauce.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
