How To Make Creamy Cheese & Tomato Macaroni

Ingredients
- 8 ounces macaroni
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until smooth and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Gradually whisk in milk until well combined and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted and smooth.

Stir in diced tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Add cooked macaroni to the sauce and toss until fully coated.
