How To Make Charred Broccoli, Lemon & Walnut Pasta

Ingredients
- 8 oz of spaghetti
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 1 lemon, zest and juice
- ½ cup of walnuts, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp of olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli florets and cook until charred, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the cooked spaghetti, charred broccoli, lemon zest, lemon juice, and chopped walnuts to the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the pasta hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
