Ingredients
- 8 oz bow tie pasta
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions

Cook the bow tie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces with a spoon.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the diced tomatoes, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.

Add the cooked bow tie pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it evenly with the sauce.

Serve the bow ties with sausage, tomatoes, and cream topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
