Flavored with parsley, rosemary, garlic and shallots, this is quite the tasty meat dish. The beef is called a London broil because you take a piece of flank meat and cook it using a pan-skillet and slice it through the grain. It compliments well with the creaminess of the mushroom sauce.
How To Make Marinated London Broil with Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 lb London broil
- 1 lb Portobello mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cup dry red wine
- ½ cup fresh parsley, minced
- 1 tsp rosemary, dried, crushed
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp shallots, minced
- 2 cup beef broth
- 1 cup tomatoes, diced
Instructions

Place London broil along with mushrooms, wine, parsley, rosemary, garlic and shallots in a plastic bag and secure.

Place in the refrigerator for about an hour to marinate.

Remove beef from marinade and place in a large skillet and cook over medium heat until cooked to your liking. Place steak aside.

In the same skillet, place reserved marinade, beef broth and tomatoes and cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Slice London broil and pour sauce over meat.
