- 1.5 lbs chicken thighs
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

Select the sauté function on the Instant Pot and heat the olive oil.

Sear the chicken thighs on both sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove the chicken thighs from the Instant Pot and set aside.

Add the chicken broth to the Instant Pot and scrape the bottom to deglaze.

Place the trivet in the Instant Pot and place the chicken thighs on top.

Pour the BBQ sauce over the chicken thighs.

Close the Instant Pot and set the vent to sealing.

Select the manual/pressure cook button and set the timer for 10 minutes.

Once the cooking is complete, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes, then quick release the remaining pressure.

Carefully remove the chicken thighs from the Instant Pot and baste them with the sauce.
