How To Make Feta-Stuffed Hamburgers

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or stovetop grill pan.

  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, feta cheese, parsley, red onion, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Divide mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into patties.

  4. Place a small amount of additional feta cheese in the center of 4 patties, then top with remaining patties.

  5. Press edges together to seal and form a stuffed patty.

  6. Grill patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F for medium doneness.

  7. Toast hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.

  8. Serve the feta-stuffed hamburgers on toasted buns with desired toppings.
