Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Dip each shrimp into the beaten eggs, then coat in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere well.

  3. Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Fry the coated shrimp in batches for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.

  5. Remove the shrimp from the skillet using a slotted spoon and transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

  6. Serve the fried shrimp hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
