- 500g boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
- Steamed rice or naan bread (for serving)
Instructions

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent.

Add garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute.

Add chicken pieces and sauté until browned on all sides.

Stir in tomato puree, curry powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add coconut milk and chickpeas. Season with salt.

Cover the pan and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

Garnish with fresh cilantro.
