Ingredients
- 8 oz rotini pasta
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and cook until onions are translucent.

Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.

Stir in marinara sauce, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

In a greased baking dish, layer cooked rotini pasta, ground beef mixture, ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese.

Repeat layering until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of cheese on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
