Ingredients
- 8 manicotti shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the manicotti shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool them down.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.

Stuff each manicotti shell with the ricotta mixture using a spoon or a piping bag. Place the stuffed manicotti shells in a greased baking dish.

Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed manicotti shells. Sprinkle with additional mozzarella and Parmesan cheese if desired.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
