How To Make Pepper & Lemon Crusted Salmon with Asparagus

Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a small bowl, mix together the black pepper, lemon zest, and salt.

Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and sprinkle the pepper and lemon mixture evenly over the top.

Place the salmon on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

While the salmon is baking, heat some olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the asparagus and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until tender-crisp.

Serve the pepper and lemon crusted salmon alongside the asparagus, with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the dish.
