Ingredients
- 4 Italian sausages
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 sub rolls or hot dog buns
Instructions

Preheat your grill to medium heat.

Grill the Italian sausages for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and nicely browned.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the sliced peppers and onions to the skillet and sauté for about 8-10 minutes, or until they become soft and slightly caramelized.

Season the peppers and onions with dried oregano, salt, and pepper.

Once the sausages are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.

Split the sub rolls or hot dog buns and grill them for a minute or two until they are lightly toasted.

To serve, place a grilled sausage in each roll and top it with the sautéed peppers and onions.
