Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp tandoori masala
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine yogurt, tandoori masala, paprika, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well.

  2. Marinate the chicken breasts in the yogurt mixture for at least 1 hour or overnight for best flavor.

  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken breasts for about 8-10 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

  4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the lime-pickled cucumber salad. In a separate bowl, combine cucumber slices, lime juice, sugar, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.

  5. Serve the grilled tandoori-ish chicken with the lime-pickled cucumber salad. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
