Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 ready-to-eat ham, boneless (4-5 pounds)
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 star anise pods
- 1 orange, zested and juiced
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the ham on a baking rack in a roasting pan.
-
In a small saucepan, combine the cranberry sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, star anise pods, orange zest, and juice. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
-
Brush the glaze all over the ham, making sure to get it into any crevices. Reserve some of the glaze for serving.
-
Roast the ham in the preheated oven for about 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C), basting with the glaze every 30 minutes.
-
Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. Slice and serve with the reserved glaze.
