Ingredients
- 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 1 cup cooked and shredded pork
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 package store-bought empanada dough
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and cook until onions are translucent.

Add cabbage and cook until tender. Remove from heat and let cool.

In a bowl, combine cooked cabbage, shredded pork, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Place a spoonful of the cabbage and pork filling onto each dough circle.

Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape, and press edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges.

Place empanadas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
