  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness, about 1/2 inch.

  3. In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down gently to adhere.

  5. Place the breaded chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray.

  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy.

  7. Serve hot with a side of mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
