How To Make Saffron Rice
Fragrant and flavorful rice dish with the vivid golden hue of saffron.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups long grain rice
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 tsp saffron threads
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions

Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear.

In a small bowl, crush the saffron threads and soak them in 2 tbsp of hot water for 10 minutes.

In a large pot, bring the water, salt, butter, and saffron water to a boil.

Add the rice and stir well. Cover and reduce heat to low.

Cook for 18-20 minutes, until the water is fully absorbed.

Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.

Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
