How To Make Fennel Seed Roasted Chicken Recipe
Deliciously roasted chicken with a fragrant fennel seed seasoning.

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (around 4 lbs)
- 2 tbsp fennel seeds
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, mix the fennel seeds, salt, and olive oil.

Rub the seasoning mix all over the chicken, making sure to coat it well.

Place the chicken in a roasting pan, breast side down.

Roast the chicken for 30 minutes, then turn it over and roast for an additional 30 minutes.

Check the internal temperature of the thickest part of the chicken with a meat thermometer – it should read 165°F.

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.
