Ingredients
- 2 cups basmati rice
- 3 cups water
- 4 tbsp butter
- 6 cardamom pods, crushed
- 1/4 tsp saffron threads
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions

Rinse rice in cold water and drain.

Add rice to a pot with water, butter, cardamom, saffron, and salt.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, covered for 18-20 minutes.

Fluff rice with a fork and serve.
