How To Make Cardamom and Fig Jam
A sweet and fragrant jam with the perfect blend of cardamom and figs.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh figs, chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
Instructions

In a large pot, combine the chopped figs, sugar, lemon juice, and cardamom.

Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved.

Increase the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring frequently.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the jam is thick and syrupy.

Remove from the heat and let cool for 5 minutes before transferring it to a jar.

Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
