- 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions

In a saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, water, and cardamom.

Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until cherries are tender and the sauce is thickened.
