How To Make Sage and Onion Bread
Flavorful bread infused with the aromatic herbs of sage and onion.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp of baking powder
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 1/4 cup of chopped onion
- 2 tbsp of chopped fresh sage leaves
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

Stir in chopped onion and chopped sage leaves.

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and olive oil.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

Transfer the dough to a lightly greased baking dish or loaf pan.

Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
