How To Make Lemongrass Shrimp Recipe
A tangy and aromatic stir-fry that pairs perfectly with some steamed rice.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb. medium-sized shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 stalks lemongrass, sliced thinly
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red chili pepper, sliced
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. fish sauce
- 2 tbsp. oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and fish sauce. Stir well and set aside.

Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add lemongrass and garlic and stir-fry for a minute until fragrant.

Add shrimp and chili pepper and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until shrimp turns pink.

Pour in the sauce mixture and continue stirring until the sauce thickens and coats the shrimp.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot with steamed rice and garnish with chopped cilantro (optional).
