Ingredients
- 2 cups wild mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup Madeira wine
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms and cook until soft and slightly browned.

Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir to coat. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

Slowly pour in the vegetable broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

Add the Madeira wine and dried thyme. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, until the gravy thickens.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and serve.
