Ingredients
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a pot, melt butter over medium heat and add onion and garlic. Sauté for 2 minutes.

Add broccoli florets and chicken broth. Let it simmer for 15 minutes until the broccoli is cooked through.

In a blender, blend the soup until smooth and return it back to the pot.

Add heavy cream and shredded cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted.
