How To Make Vegetable Samosas
Who says vegetarians don’t get to enjoy savory meals? A taste of these authentic vegetarian recipes will make you change your mind. So, you just might want to go vegetarian after your first bite.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, oil, and salt. Gradually add water and knead into a smooth dough. Set aside.

Heat some oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they sizzle, add the mixed vegetables and sauté for a few minutes.

Add turmeric, garam masala, and salt to the sautéed vegetables. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Take a small portion of the dough and roll it into a medium-sized circle. Cut it in half to form two semi-circles.

Take one semi-circle, moisten the straight edge with water, and fold it into a cone shape. Fill the cone with the vegetable filling and seal the top edges.

Repeat the process with the remaining dough and filling.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan for frying. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the samosas and fry until golden brown and crispy.

Remove the samosas from the oil and drain excess oil on a paper towel.

Serve hot with mint chutney or tamarind chutney.
