How To Make Spicy Sausage Goat’s Cheese Toasts

Ingredients
- 4 slices of French bread
- 4 spicy sausages, casings removed
- 1 cup of goat’s cheese, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Place the French bread slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 minutes, or until lightly golden.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the spicy sausage to the skillet and cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the skillet from heat and drain off any excess grease.

Spread a generous amount of goat’s cheese onto each toasted French bread slice.

Top the goat’s cheese with a spoonful of the cooked spicy sausage.

Sprinkle with red pepper flakes for extra heat.

Place the prepared toasts back in the oven for 5 minutes, until the cheese is melty and the toasts are heated through.

Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
