Ingredients
- 1 block of tofu, drained and cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

In a shallow bowl, combine cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Toss the tofu cubes in the cornstarch mixture until coated evenly.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the coated tofu cubes to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.

Remove the tofu from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Garnish with chopped green onions.

Serve the salt and pepper tofu hot and enjoy!
