How To Make Roast Fennel & Bread Gratin

Ingredients

  • 2 large fennel bulbs, sliced
  • 4 cups of bread, cubed
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, toss the fennel slices, bread cubes, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper until well coated.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the fennel is tender and the bread is golden brown and crispy.

  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
